This page provides information about open source and third-party software used in Saffron products and services.
Open Source Licenses
Saffron products include software components licensed under open source licenses. These licenses grant recipients broad rights to copy, modify, and distribute components. The open source software is provided "AS IS" without warranty.
A portion of the Saffron products use software components which are governed by open source licenses, including, but not limited to, the MIT License, Apache License 2.0, and BSD licenses. You may use these open source components in accordance with the terms of the applicable open source license governing each such component.
Third-Party Components
The Saffron products incorporate software, libraries, and frameworks from third parties. These components are provided under their respective licenses and terms. Many of these are open source components available free of charge under licenses such as:
- MIT License - Permits use, modification, and distribution with minimal restrictions
- Apache License 2.0 - Provides explicit grant of patent rights from contributors
- BSD License - Allows modification and distribution with attribution requirements
- ISC License - A simple permissive license similar to MIT
